Adding Spice to Spotting

Adding Spice to Spotting

Spotting rides is undeniably still the best way of filling your garage with top-tier SpotRacers. But has the thrill of the hunt waned for you recently? The slowdown in new database submissions might suggest so. Until the spotter is updated though, players are mostly limited to vehicles manufactured up to 2021.  There is one suggestion which may reignite the excitement.

Enter RNG (Random Number Generator).  You’re all probably familiar with how it adds a layer of surprise to catching Pokemon.  Imagine if SpotRacers incorporated RNG? The game could randomly reward players with a souped-up version of a scanned car, or maybe a rare cosmetic variation (think auras).

This might breathe new life into spotting, transforming it from a chore to satisfy daily and tour missions to an engaging way to score unique rides.

So, what do you think?  Is RNG the answer, or do you have alternative suggestions for making spotting great again?

I think this is an awesome idea for an update! Even just spotting a car with a spoiler and then getting that spoiler as an item would be awesome, but RNG spots is a really cool idea!

  2. I think it’s a good idea!
Scanning cars is just a way to rank up and gain XP, open some toolboxes and get the car parts. Find a way to scan cars which could be ‘shiny’ or with body mod or with some unique accessories could be a nice add for keep us scanning 😉
